A Place to Call My Own

It has been quite some time since I have made a blog posting. I do have several reasons for my absence though. Some major life events occurred over the summer. First we moved into a much larger home. I now have my own room dedicated to creating! It does get quite messy, but I can shut the door and it will not disturb my family members. I have attached a couple of photos of my new studio/workspace below.






Secondly, my husband and I found out we were "expecting" in early May with our due date being January 6th, 2012. Therefore I have been preparing and growing. We decided, as with our other two, to not find out the baby's sex. It's truly a blessing and surprises are few and far between in our hectic, modern lives.



Life has been blissfully busy to say the least. I have finally gotten acclimated to my new schedule of shuffling my daughter to preschool, finishing up my Bachelor's degree, and tending to normal mommy/wife duties. I have illustrated a lil' chubby angel below to remind me that I do still need to utilize my gift from God and keep creating no matter the time restraints. I aim to post at least once per week from here on out or until the newest addition arrives=).
